1. Smeg BCC02
This sleek, compact, and striking machine, created by Milan-based firm Deep Design combines the brand's retro style with cutting edge technology. It handles every step of the coffee-making process - from grinding beans and then tamping the beans into a puck to texturing milk and dispensing the correct amount of coffee - meaning you can create high-quality barista hot drinks by pressing the button.
The machine also has an attractive brushed aluminum front and is available in a variety of red, black or taupe, so it's easy to integrate into most kitchen designs. It's not free of flaws, however. The majority of reviewers thought it was quite expensive for a cup to bean maker (and it doesn't come with a pitcher of milk).
But there were also plenty of glowing reviews about the quality of the coffee and the ease of use of this machine. The digital display provides feedback and step-by-step directions throughout the entire process of brewing that will help you make your drink perfect each time. It even allows you to adjust the size of the grind if it's not quite right. It's like having your own personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building abilities and Harry Potter's invisibility cape).
This model is perfect for those who like milky drinks. The steam wand is adjustable to the right and left to fit a variety of drinking vessels, with the exception of Viking drinking horns. We were impressed with the speed and efficiency of the frothing process too. It produces an excellent, full-flavoured, delicious espresso with a wonderful crema.
The BCC02 is a fantastic all-rounder, quiet and efficient and provides great value for money, especially at its current price of PS499. Its only real flaw is that it doesn't provide the same level of customisation as other bean-to-cup machines we have tested. It has a 15 bar pump instead of the usual 19 bars that aren't as efficient for making high-quality espressos. But other than that it's a fantastic machine to make coffee for those who prefer their coffee strong and dark. Click here to check out Lavazza's great deal.
2. Melitta Barista TS Smart

There's also a handy chute for pre-ground coffee in case you'd like to make your own (for instance, if that pesky dinner guest brings their own).
Users have also reported being impressed by the speed of the machine. It's faster than other machine they have ever used. The machine will also inform you if any of its hoppers is nearly empty. This way, you won't be able to drink your preferred beverage.
The only thing that could be a disadvantage for certain people is the price. This machine is not inexpensive, with prices that are close to PS999. It's still less expensive than comparable Jura machines with similar features.

The Barista TS Smart is backed up by a generous warranty, offering two years of coverage. This is more than the typical one-year guarantee. It is a sign of confidence on behalf of the manufacturer.
